Gone, but never forgotten

As most of you probably know by now, Rob Smith (aka Acidman), has passed away.

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting him in Austin this past spring. Oh, his blog is raw, open and often time biting. But the man I met? A Southern Gentleman through and through.

We had a chance to chat a bit. And we all got a hear him play and sing. I only wish I'd had more of an opportunity to know him, but that weekend? It was....nice.

I hope and pray he's found the peace he was searching for.

My thoughts are with his family and friends.
