Today is SUNDAY!

Yesterday was exhausting. I had a workshop to conduct with the public at 10:00am. that lasted until 2:00. Then across the town center to help another client with a chairity event. Finally got to sit down at 7:00 last night. Big problem - I wore "cute" shoes not "smart" shoes. I didn't plan on being on my feet near the hours I was. Ouchie.

But I met the sweetest woman. She was a tiny Cuban woman who lit the room with her smile. She and her son were picking out mattresses and being very careful that they got exactly the right one. It took a long time. She and I sat and chatted and I just fell in love. She was a delight. At one point she asked where I lived so I gave her the general area.

"You must come and live by me. We would be a good team. We would have a lot of fun."

Yeah - I bet we would.

As they were waiting to pay for their purchases another "gentleman"....and I do use that term very lightly......needed my assistance. What a creep. I needed a shower after just talking with him. Aftre he left, she came over and told me "I don't like him. I don't like the way he watch you. I don't like the way he talk to you. I don't like him at all."

I thanked her and said I was kind of use to it....I get that a lot.

Then he comes back. And just stands at the edge of the department watching me.

This sweet Cuban school teacher, no bigger than a minute, marches right up to him and let him know that she didn't appreciate what he was doing. That he was not being a gentleman, and that he needed to conclude his business and be on his way!

Way to Go Maria!!!!!

Anyway - got home and had a wonderful phone call from TNT and Harvey - checking up on me. I love those two!! I can't wait to see you!

Today is all ours. Cody and I are packing our stuff and heading SouthWest. First we will stop at my friend J's house to introduce Cody to the family and spend some time with some of my Florida Family. Then tonite....we are heading over to Lee Ann's to get my damned shirt back and have a wonderful evening. She is going to watch Cody for me while I am in Georgia next week and I know he couldn't be in better hands.

So.....I better get off this damned couch and finish packing. Damn - it seems like Cody has just as much stuff as I do! I think I need to get some puppy luggage!!

Glad Maria was there, and wonder if she is related to Val? The attitude says yes... *G* I like her and I haven't even met her yet.

That's too funny!

What part of GA you going to? That's part of my territory.

Mom,
please from now on...keep a pair of "sensible shoes" in the car. The 5 inch heels are not meant for too much walking.
That would make you a "svelt 6 '7'" WOW....
