Fred is still in the race.
The bad news?

It's still early. And THAT is the best news of all........

But yeah, I *heart* the fact that Hill was humiliated! [insert evil laugh]
Tammi,
I remember years ago, the governor's mansion in Arkansas was being renovated (probably to fumigate the foul Clinton stench). Huckabee brought in a double wide trailer to put behind the mansion to live in, until the renovations were done. He was being interviewed on the morning news show. He was very funny, and could really lob the (soft) balls being thrown at him.
I do think his campaign manager has some Karl Rove in him, which may haunt Huckabee later.
I don't think Thompson has a chance. He's already stated he doesn't want the job of President.
Hillary in third? Priceless (but she ain't dead yet). It's gonna get nasty now!
Posted by: Jerry at January 4, 2008 02:43 PMHave no fear. I heard some place recently that statistically the winner of the Hawkeye Caweye hasn't won the party ticket. Now for the Repubicans that could be good. But keep in mind that to the dems also.
Posted by: Navy CPO at January 4, 2008 03:47 PMWhen Thompson said he doesn't want to be President, he was saying that he doesn't hunger for power like these other people. He wants to serve the American people, but he isn't going to compromise himself to get into power just for the sake of power. That's the problem in this race, as in every race. Flippin' out of context quotes win the election!
