Still Goin'

Well, it's a bit lighter now so I pushed my way out onto the deck to get a couple more pictures. Just because!

This is the house across the street. Notice how high the snow is on the car in their drive. And yes, the car at the bottom of the stairs is Maggie May. She's not a real happy camper right now, I'm pretty sure......

Now we have the backyard shot. Doesn't look like much snow, but it's geting there. Oh, and did I mention how flippin' cold it is?

Last but not least this is close to the same shot I took this morning, kinda of a compare and contrast sort of thing.

So, it's lookin' like I'll make me a nice pot of cheesy potato soup, some cornbread and a pot of tea. Damn, I just wish I had a fireplace!!!

Nice. The second picture looks like a ski lift in your back yard. Cool.

That looks so calm and quite, I wish I was there. It's cold here in CA but no snow where I am. Snow can be a pain but it's nice to look at.

The one thing I love about being out in the snow is the quite.

It's like deadly quite, you hear almost no sound.

It's so peaceful.

It's beautiful! Of course, I don't have to put up with the aftermath. ;)

I posted pics too. The snow is so pretty when you don't have to drive in it...

OK. I showed my boys the before and afters and their response was, "Lucky..." Heh. My thought was "Ack!"

Tammi,
We totally dodged the snow. But we had 50 mph winds, and the temps have dropped into the 20s. I start my trek to Tulsa tomorrow evening.

Seems so unfair. Here at the cabin I have 2 fireplaces. I can share though...

Funny, I thought you lived in Florida but thanks for the pictures. I love to look at snow but I'm glad not to have to shovel it anymore.

BTW, Marcus sent me.

DAMN DAMN DAMN!!!! You know what I did Friday, since I couldn't get into work? I made cheesy potato soup and homemade bread. This is getting scary!
