Published? Me???
Huh. Got a funny email.
Seems my newest (and most successful) recuriter likes my style. Of job hunting that is.
He has asked me to document my process, my spreadsheet, and any hints I have to offer so that we can publish them.
I have no idea what that means, but it's kinda cool.
Oh - believe it or not, despite the casualness of this blog, I've been published before. In fact, it's one of the facts that really helped to nail this new job.
And the funniest part is I keep forgetting to mention it. Hehe.
I wrote a series of articles, years ago, on how to do business with the worlds largest retailer. How to get that first appoinment, how to get your product in their sites. How to retail it and gain disturbution. How to deal with their accounting systems and how to get money out of them. That last one is the one that REALLY got their attention. The articles are about 4 years old now - but still, huh, it seemed to impress them.
So I guess as soon as I get settled into my new home I'll pull that together. Makes me kinda glad I kept track here on the blog. It may have bored y'all, but it's gonna come in real handy for me!!
And after all - it *is* all about me. Right?
