Just Checking In

Well, I'm safely ensconsed at Cuz's house. We got in last night.

Let me just tell you - yesterday? Yeah, don't want to do THAT again either.

While we got a lot done Friday - all the big stuff - still tons to do before we caught our plane.

So - up at 6:00. Did I mention we didn't finish with the truck until 3:00am? Yeah - that gave me 2 hours sleep. Packed up the car with stuff and headed to the storage unit. Cuz was exhausted so I let her sleep.

Got the first load to the unit and realized the second load wouldn't fit. I'm gonna have to make a plan.

Shit - gotta leave for the airport in 3 hours. No Time. Made a deal with the land lady and I'll just figure something out when I get back.

Anyway - cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. Shit! Need a shower. I don't think they'd want us on the plane the way we were smellin'. Shower, cleaning, packing.......

Left 45 mins later than intended. Luckily traffic as just fine. Barely made our plane. I HATE travelin' like that.

My hands are like hamburger. Every muscle in my body hurts, but I'm here. AND - you can leave messages on my phone even though it's all tore down. That makes me very happy. I didn't want to have to get a new number or anything so that works just perfect for me. I had no idea it would work like that - I just LOVE good surprises!

Anyway - I'm here and exhausted. Getting ready to go sit in the sun for a few hours just to nap and feel human. But I wanted to let y'all know, I'm here. It's all fine.

Oh - and we're havin' company for dinner!!!! I'm very happy about that!!!!
