**yawn, stretchhhhhhh** Good morning!!
Well, I made it home and I'm so tired. We had a great meeting and I'm really excited about what we learned this week. The one thing that stood out? I thought I've been busy?!? The next 5 months will be about the toughest in my professional life. And trust me, that's not an over statment. We've got another meeting next week, this time in Waycross. My poor family - my neice thinks I don't want them here because I keep leaving. But I'm working part of today so I can spend Saturday and Sunday with them.
I did watch a bit of the convention last nite. The only thing I saw was the film. I had to turn it off. My neice told me it wasn't nice to curse at the TV and wouldn't I feel bad if "that guy" became President. My response? "Well, we'll just have to make sure enough people vote for President Bush to keep that from happening." She agreed. Smart girl.
Thanks to all for the Birthday wishes. At the meeting I had 200 sales reps sing the H.B. song and literally cover me in "silly string". They emptied 7 cans on me. I'm still finding it in places it shouldn't be. We had our team dinner at Dave and Busters so I did let the inner child come out, but we had our big presentations the next morning so I didn't play too much!
By the way - I was voted best presenter in my group again. So I guess it was worth waiting to play!! I do love to present and train. Love it Love it Love it. And it shows. No matter how poorly I feel, when I get up there it all falls away and I'm just laser focused on the group. What a rush!
Anyway - this is just a post to let you all know I'm still here! I'm trying to catch catch up on all the great postings out there. Wow - 2 days out and I've got a good bit of reading to do. Ya'll have been busy.

Posted by: That 1 Guy at July 30, 2004 10:03 AMYou're back! And safe!
My sister and Mom are trainers. They love their jobs. They do a lot of Meyers Briggs workshops and stuff. It's always fun to listen to them talk about their jobs...
Posted by: Boudicca at July 30, 2004 10:59 AMI'm with you Tammi, Turn the TV Off, I just can't take the spin (or whatever you want to call it). The best part about speaking in front of an audience, when it's over ;-) . Happy Birthday 2 days late Sorry :-(

Posted by: Harvey at July 31, 2004 09:11 AMYou know Tammi, if you ever decide to get out of sales you should go into teaching. You would make a great Junior High School teacher.
