Adventures in Blogging Part I

I haven't said anything, but I haven't been feeling well the last few days. In fact, took myself to the ER the other night, kinda scary. I'm ok - just a bit of a virus, but still - ER's alone SUCK.

But that's not what this is about. With extra time on my hands (bedrest, not what it's cracked up to be) I thought it was time to expand my horizons. I've been working on a little blog project, and in tweeking it realized I should step outside my blogroll. So.....I went steppin'.

I'm an adverterous person, most of the time. But for some reason - I have those blogs I read and I stick to them. (BTW - I've been updating my roll with what was previously on my "favorites" - ck 'em out! Still more to add) Oh - I'll click over if someone I enjoy recommends someone, but for the most part, I don't just meander around the blogsphere.

Yesterday I went to some of my favorite sites. You know, those that you check as often as possible, whose comments are always so damn thought provoking. Yeah, those. Anyway - I went into some of my favorite posts on there and started looking at comments. Those that I enjoyed (not necessarily agreed with, just enjoyed) that had a blog I went to. WOW!! I found some good ones.

First - check out MY WAR. Kinda hard to read with the dark background, and long (I mean long) paragraphs, but worth it. Really. CB is in the shit and he takes you right there with him. I found him via several sites.

Next - while visiting Questing Cat I found Kat at The Middle Ground. All I'll say is SHE ROCKS. Go, Read Her Right Now!!!

Many of you probably already read MEMEorandum, but I didn't. I do now. I love the fact that it has the news and then who is posting on it. Geez Tammi, where have you been?

These are just a few of the great new things I've stumbled across. It looks like I'll be stuck at home for a few days so I'll let you know what else my adventures in blogging turns up.

Oh bummer Tammi, I didn't know you were sick! Hope you feel better soon. Take it easy, chicken soup, vitamins, all the good junk. Good vibes headed your way ~~~~~

I wish wish wish I had time to get to all the good blogs out there. I'm trying to make (read scraping out) comment time today. What I need, less work, more blog time... LOL. Now all I have to do is make time to write on my own blog.

internet poker I'm very proud that some people think that I'm a danger for the intellectual health of students. When people start thinking of health in intellectual activities, I think there is something wrong. In their opinion I am a dangerous man, since I am a crypto-Marxist, an irrationalist, a nihilist.
