BEFORE YOU READ THIS PLEASE NOTE: The information I have seen comes from Albawaba.com so I am reading this with many many bells going off in my head. Still - I'm curious if anyone else has seen anything on it.
In searching Google News I found this story posted at 3:30pm EST.
It references an Internet Statment where the terrorists that call themselves Army of Ansar al-Sunna (putting the word ARMY in there makes my blood boil) claim to have beheaded US Marine Wassef Ali Hassoun and claim to have another hostage.
If, and I do mean IF this is true them sons of bitches just stepped into a big ole pile of shit. I'm 'bout sick and tired of these weasley chickenshit bastards sucker-punching us.
UPDATED 7/6/04: I'm seeing every where that this rumor is being refuted by the terrorists. They are saying he is alive and "in a safe place". Personally - I'll consider him safe when we have him back. Still - we must keep him, his family and friends in our prayers.
