Being a Grown-Up

There comes a time in your life when you have to make choices that you just don't want to face. You have to step up to the plate and Do The Right Thing.

No matter what.

Because if you don't you have to live with that decision the rest of your days...and worse yet....your nights.

You can't always have the life you dreamt of. You can't always have everything the way you want it. Real Life gets in the way.

And when you come to that cross road, it's hard. It's damned hard. It's get pissed off and stomp your feet hard. It's cry in the middle of the night hard.

But you take a deep breath, square your shoulders and stop being so damned selfish. You. Do. The. Right. Thing.

Nothing is forever. Just keep that thought in mind.

Just remember, there will ALWAYS be rewards for doing the right thing :-)

Harvey is right, the right thing is always rewarded in the end. When it is dropping in the pot, it is not nice or pleasant. Later, however, there is reward and one of the best of all is the self-respect that comes from having done the right thing. Easy, no. But then again, the right thing seldom is easy at the time. Later, it makes things much easier.

Doing the 'right' thing may always be right. But, you also have to consider if the 'right' thing is what you need to do...if it's 'right' for you. Sometimes, doing what you think is the wrong thing...turns out to be the right thing.
(Howzat for good advice? Sounds like a fortune cookie, huh? heh)
