It's A BIG Day!

Guess what! Today is my 1 year blogaversary! Yep - it was one year ago today that I stumbled on to blogspot and wrote this.

I had been reading Smash, Blackfive, Lex, GreyHawk, Sgt. Hook (who we miss VERY much) and Laughing Wolf for a while by that time. There I was, following a link at Blackfive over to an active duty MilBlogger and sumbled across Blogspot. "Start your own Blog!" OK. And I did.

It really was that easy. It really was that quick. Next thing I know I'm posting like a crazy woman.

1299 posts later - 403 at Blogspot and 895 here - and I can't imagine my life without it.

I've been so lucky. I've had encouragment from some pretty heavy hitters - and I'll never understand why! But I thank you!

And the people I've met! WOW! Whether in person, on the phone or just via email and blogging my life is so much richer because of them.

I've been a member of the Bad Example Family since July and that has truly changed my life. Harvey will never know what a gift he has given me in that. And I've met 2 of my best friends in life. Teresa and Bou have become such an important part of who I am......two of the best things that have ever happened to me. And that is not taking away anything for the rest of my family! I know ya'll are probably sick of hearing about the Bad Example Family Reuion - but it truly was one of the best weekends of my life. I count each and every one of the Family as True Family!!

I said in the beginning that this would be a "hodge podge" blog. A little politics, a little business and just a whole lotta Tammi. Seems I've stuck to that pretty well.

And the best part? You. The people that come here and read what I share. You leave comments, send emails and every one of those mean so much.

When I had my accident last year, just 5 days after introducing myself - the support I recieved was amazing. Damn haloscan anyway - all my old comments are just gone!!

We've had a lot of laughs these past 365 days. And I don't plan on slowing down anytime in the future. In my mind we are just getting started.

So Thank You. Thank you for a wonderful year. Thank you for your support and friendship. Thank You for taking time out of your day to share mine.
