This Rocks!

Oprah is hosting the Worlds Biggest Baby Shower at Fort Campbell. 640 pregnant soldiers and soldiers' wives.

Now I don't normally watch Oprah but this caught my attention.

They are giving away tons of presents. Clothes, music, all sorts of stuff. And I can't think of anyone more deserving.

Of course, being Oprah they have some serious tear jerking moments and yes, she got me a couple of times. But over all......I think this is about the coolest thing she's done.

But I think it's also pretty important to acknowledge the companies the contributed to this. What many don't know is that the gifts are all DONATED by the companies. Yes, they get the free press, but it's still a donation...so in extended entry are the companies that donated to this really cool idea.

But I want you to know that Johnson & Johnson has gone way above and beyond. Not only did they donate Digital Camera's but they are giving each of the 640 women there $1000 to fly in a family member for the birth of their child. Think about that folks....THAT IS THE COOLEST THING I'VE SEEN IN A LONG LONG TIME. I'm going to send a message. Here's the form just incase you want to let them know how much you appreciate their support of our troops.

I don't normally watch Oprah, but when I was flipping channels today I came across it and had to stop and watch. You are correct, this was absolutely the BEST thing I have seen done!
