Oh THIS is good....

NOT!

Seems there was a shooting on I75 near Tampa.

Here's what I was able to find so far (Taken from the FOX News site in Tampa.)

HILLSBOROUGH DEPUTIES MAKE A PLEA FOR INFORMATION IN SHOOTING

The Hillsborough Sheriff's office wants to know who killed a husband and father. 49-year-old David Neel was a security guard from Zephyrhills. He was heading south on I-75 near I-4 Sunday when his truck careened off the road into a tree. When troopers reached him, they found a single high caliber bullet had pierced his chest and killed him. Investigators say it's one of the tougher cases they've undertaken because they have so little to go on. They say there's the chance the bullet could have been fired from the side of the road or the woods nearby.

They are saying it could be a sniper, but are still investigating.

They are down playing this because they don't want people to get scared. HELLO!! Some of us have no choice but to be on the highway. IT's kinda nice to know there's something to worry about out there other than the usual idiot drivers and construction.

Did I mention that is exactly where I'm supposed to go today? Yeah - Yipee!

Sorry to hear that. You'll be in my prayers today as you travel.

Tammi, I *know* you. If a bullet came into your car, you'd just start chattin' with it and stroking it's little bullet ego & generally charming it to pieces until it gave up and went back to the jag who pulled the trigger :-)

And hopefully lodge right between his eyes...

And lets toss in that the section of I-75 that the closed (I-4 to Fowler) is the exact area I drive to go visit Darling Hubby! I'd not heard the sniper aspect, just a suspected road rage kind of thing.

Great...I think 41 and the slow way are looking a little better. Ugh, add another 30 minutes to my drive. Okay coppers, catch the sicko! And keep all who travel safe!
