So...have you heard of Chronic Candy? NO? Well let me tell you what it is....
A company that makes, amoung other things. suckers that taste like Marijuana. Yeah - the tag line is "Every Lick is Like Taking a Hit."
And there are other flavors too.....
Here's the video clip from Tampa Bay Channel 10's story.
It's legal because it's THC free and doesn't get you intoxicated..... but I gotta say - I have a problem with this!
I'm thinking back - and if I remember correctly marijuana doesn't taste very good! I thought it was actually an aquired taste......is it possible that this candy to lead to "candy"?!?!
But wait....am I just getting old? I remember candy cigarettes. I had them, I loved them. But looking back - it wasn't for the taste. (Even though they did taste pretty good.) I thought they were cool and yes - I did start smoking at an early age. But was it because of the candy cigarettes on because I wanted to?
So.....I'm just saying.....you might just want to make sure you pay plenty of attention to the candy suckers that the children in your life are enjoying. If nothing else this Chronic Candy is certainly causing a buzz!!
Posted by Tammi at March 2, 2005 11:05 PMSounds disgusting (tastewise) to me. But then again I never could even stand the smell of marijuana - I think the taste might've put me into a gagging fit.
As for candy cigarettes... I loved 'em... I've never smoked...
I think for any of those things; regular cigarettes to marijuana, there is likely a chemical reaction that some people have that makes the continued use compelling and eventually addictive. It's the only way to explain why some people become addicted and others are never attracted at all.
I took 1 puff off 1 cigarette 1 time - thought it was going to kill me! I have never ever been tempted to repeat that process. And I grew up in a house where my dad smoked like a chimney.
Posted by: Teresa at March 2, 2005 11:58 PMAs I recall, weed is fairly spicy-tasting.
Can't believe that would make for good-tasting candy.
