Luciano Pavarotti has passed away. We've lost another great talent.
And ohhh how he loved to share the music. Time after time, he preformed with the latest and greatest in "Pop Culture" - just happy to perform. To teach.
Luciano Pavarotti introduced many to Opera, because he just loved music. He wanted - no needed to share that love with others. And I, for one am grateful.
I choose the following clip DESPITE Celine Dion being a part of it - because if you just listen, it's beautiful. They "play it" perfectly. It's one of my favorite of his performances......
He was amazing.....I have a four-record set of his that I always loved listening to, for the sense of peace his gilded pipes fostered within me. Sundays always seemed most appropriate to listen to him, too...while cleaning.
On a side note, I think the video embed code made your site go all facoct...I was looking all over for it, when I found it on the top left corner. Pulling a V-Man, eh?
