Respect.
I have to admit, I had never heard of The Patriot Guard until I started blogging. But now? Now I'm one of their biggest fans.
Head on over to The Gun Line and read Sergeant B's account of The Patriot Guard's sad, but ohhh so important recent mission. Paying respect to a fallen Hero and his family.

I took a lot of google hits for him the week of his funeral and I received a few email, one of them from the Patriot Guard. They do all military funerals... retired and active... and they were requested to be at the Captain's funeral. The lead rider emailed me as he said he had googled the Captain looking for information... he always wanted to know the man or woman for whom he was serving. The rider was a wonderful guy.
What an amazing service they provide. I just wish they did not have to.
