I had no idea

We finally made it for our In-N-Out Burger.

Holy Crap.

We were all laughing at folks reaction when we said that was where we were going. WTF? It's just a burger joint, right?

Oh Contraire. That was a slice of heaven, and that's putting it mildly.

None of us got the double double, but everyone single person said they could eat one even after we were done with everything else. It's like fast food crack.

Fresh burgers, grilled buns, fresh toppings, fresh french fries and a shake that, I swear, beats any I've ever had.

Now I've been there, done that AND I bought the flippin' t-shirt.

WooHoo!! Something to look forward to for next year.

Damn. How is it I've never heard of this place before?!?

It's very local. It was only SoCal until about 10 years ago, and even so there's only like 5 outside of the SoCal area.

It's a family owned business, too. A dying breed.

You should see the drive thru lines at 5:30 on a Friday!

Tammi,
In and Out. Doesn't that have a terrible connotation when you're referring to food? The food for bulimics. Anyways, great burger. One of my SoCal faves.

The bumper stickers are popular, too. They usually undergo some 'modification' however: As typically seen on old Camaros and jacked-up pick-up trucks (and more recently, little 'rice-burner' street rods), the stickers appear without the leading "B" or the final "R" - leaving them to say...

IN-N-OUT
URGE

Uhhh... yeah. If you have to advertise, you're either a 'ho or you're too creepy to be gettin' any at all.

I'm just sayin...

Whenever I see one, I can't help but wonder how the franchise feels about that particular use of their brand?

DoubleDouble with cheese and grilled onions, plus a choc-o-late shake.

Oh.

Baby.

Did you know: a) every single one is family owned ~ NO franchises?

b) the biggest menu change in recent DECADES was the soul searching involved in finally adding Dr. Pepper

c) can you tell I miss having one within driving distance with all my HEART?
