Ok, I think I've mentioned a time or twelve that in less than 2 weeks I will be pickin' up my new car.
Well, new to me car that is.
I think I found it today. I called and put a hold on it. Ya wanna know what I picked out?
It's a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix. Now, the color in the picture is off. The one I reserved is a blue/green. I love that color and it's unusual so I can find it easier in a parking lot.
I know it's not what I originally wanted. But it'll be 100x better than what I have now. AND it fits me. Literally. Good leg/head room. That's important.
I'm pretty excited. Can you tell?
Hmmm....does that make me fickle??
You should get a Ford or Mercury, I can get the discount for ya.
I don't know anyone at GM anymore to get you the discount.
And besides, I am protesting GM products, know ya with the laying off and all.
But I have to admit the Grand Prix is a pretty car!

I've never driven one, but the people who lived across the street from us [last time] in Texas had one, and loved it. Traded their current one in every two years for a new one; wouldn't think of driving anything else! Loyalty like that doesn't come out of nowhere... ;)
Posted by: pam at December 14, 2006 04:05 PMWhoohoo! But what will you name her?
Posted by: Richmond at December 14, 2006 04:42 PMThanks you gals! And regarding the name...I won't know til I sit in her. Scary, isn't it?!?! :-)

Oh you're gonna love it. It's just so great to get a new (or slightly used) set of wheels. Then you can take ole Maggie May behind the barn and with the shotgun, put her out of her misery.
Darn.
I was hoping you'd get this one:
