I'm Not Sharing
Son of a Gun!!
As I sit here tryin' to blog this morning I've killed 4, count them FOUR spiders.
Have I ever mentioned how much I HATE spiders?
Yeah, well, I do.
Yes, I know I live in an attic walk-up. Yes, I know spiders tend to come in as it cools off. (I had to turn the fans down last night - it got cold!!!) BUT - I'm not sharin' my home with spiders. Not. Gonna. Happen.
So - other than professional spider killers, can anyone tell me what I can do to:
a) kill the ones that are in here
b) keep the other sons-o-bitches OUT!!!
I put mothballs in my garage in Orlando and that sorta cut down on them. BUT I don't really enjoy the frangrance of mothballs, so I'm open to other suggestions.

Looked over to the passenger seat and there it was, big fat juicy disgusting spider. I wish they and all the other insects could be eradicated permanently without breaking down the whole food chain!
We mix up a coctail of chemicals and spray around baseboards, windows, and anywhere else you think they could get in. Diazinon (sp) and something else... I call it my perimeter of death....
Posted by: Richmond at August 21, 2006 12:51 PMThe house geckos pretty much keep them at bay here, along with a once a month spray... but my car is full of them... webs everywhere. I clean it out and they're right back.
I'm thinking of bombing it or use a gecko on the catch and release program. ;)
Need to buy some small foil tart pans and put hedge apples in 'em.
