Home Sweet Home
I'm home. I'm in my little belfry - save and sound. Well, as sound as I can be on moving weekend.
Yesterday did start out as a major cluster. But - I'm pretty good in crisis mode so I just put my mind in gear and well......made it happen.
Managed to find another truck and wasn't even late to meet the guys helping me move. I cannot believe that we sorted out what I wanted to take, loaded the truck, drove to the Belfry and got everything unloaded in under 2 hours. Talk about paring down. Holy Crap.
I actually had all the boxes unpacked and was able to sleep in my bed last night.
This morning - loaded the empties in the truck, took those to the storage unit, picked up a few things I had forgotten and then returned the truck and reloaded everything in the car.
Got most of my clothes up here. Even have them hung up and tomorrow's work clothes pressed and ready to go.
Finally I got the chance to go to the grocery store. Not the major shop, but just a few things to get me through this week. I'll hit it heavy next weekend.
Right now - I'm just happy to have internet, phone and cell. WooHoo. I'm starting to feel like myself again. Finally.
Yep - it's starting to look like home around here......
