Really. I'm not an UNlucky person. I think. I plan (sometimes too much) but seriously - I'm starting to wonder what it was exactly that I did in a previous life to cause so much bad luck.
It's moving day. I've already mentioned that earlier.
So - I've hired some muscle. Smart Tammi.
I have the whole weekend to get settled. Smart Tammi.
I called and reserved a small truck. Smart Tammi.
Oh shit - she never called to confirm the truck yesterday. I didn't miss the call until Midnight last night when I was running today through my mind.
I can't get ahold of them. Saturday's are by appointment only.
I have movers. I have stuff. But it doesn't look like I have a truck.
Please. Just once - can this shit go right?!?!?!?!?
I'm currently on the hunt for another truck. I can move most of the boxes in the car - it's the damned bed, loveseat and chairs - oh and the TVs - that I'm worried about.
Well - if this works I should be able to post something tomorrow. Live blogging from The Belfry. If it doesn't.....well - let's just think positive, shall we?!?!?

Posted by: Contagion at June 24, 2006 11:14 AMIt's moving day. You need Butch Tammi! Butch Tammi, who can lift big pieces of furniture in her bare feet. Butch Tammi, who can move those big boxes up and down stairs and rip open taped boxes with her bare hands. Butch Tammi, who keeps going until the last bit of stuff has been moved. Then Butch Tammi pops open a cold beer and puts her dirty bare feet up on the kitchen table. Ah, it's Miller Time!
Smart Tammi? Ha! She'd be whining about breaking a nail. Who needs her today?
How's the belfry looking?

Posted by: Teresa at June 25, 2006 12:24 AMDoes no one have pick up trucks in that state? Sheeze. I'd have helped you. By a truck. Your chances are better with one if you "dream and drive"...
