A bit of nothin'

It's offical. The Little Blue Cracker House is no longer my HOME. The big mirror and my favorite piece of art work have been taken down and packed away. The curtains are down, and it's pretty much just boxes and that pesky small crap to finish up with.

I'll tell you a little secret. It really bumed me out when we took down the mirror. It just makes it all so....final.

Cuz and I are putterin' through. TNT is comin' down tomorrow to help with the loading of the truck as well as we need coverage for the damned yard sale. Seriously - if I had my way that shit would all be either thrown out or donated. BUT - they are right. I need the cash. Plus - you know the sayin'....someone's trash is someone else's treasure.

I seriously hope there are a lot of treasure hunters tomorrow.

I haven't seen any cardinals this week. That's kinda weird. Usually I've got a bunch of them hanging outside my office window. Even Cuz hasn't seen any.

That damned cat has been hanging around. I did find out it belonged to my new neighbors. Also - it discovered the fact that I cleaned out the fridge when I put the garbage out this morning. Damned cat. 'Nuff said.

One good thing? It's cooler right now. The highs are in the upper 70's and that makes all this liftin' and carrin' a whole lot easier. See....gotta find that silver lining!!

OK - that's it for now. I've got to finish taping up some boxes and get some more stuff staged to load out in the garage.

No rest for the wicked!
