I Think I Resemble That Remark

Ok - so I'm over at Blackfive's place and he has a link to find out what kind of dog you are......

I'm sitting here at my cousins - she's ebaying, I'm blogging - oh hell, might as well see what it says.

Here are my results.

I am a German Spitz

Ok - kinda fufu, but I can live with that.

Here's the kicker - Personality:
Active, intelligent and alert. This dog is also a devoted family pet. The German Spitz can adapt to life in town or the country but if left unchecked it has a tendancy to yap, which can drive the neighbors crazy.

This sucks. I hate this test. I took it first and it said Large Schnauzer. Yeah. Right. But it's that stupid only pick '5' of your personality traits, so I went back and changed a couple thinking maybe they were right... and I got... dammit... I got Dachshund. I read it to my sister and she said, "That is so you and if you don't tell them that, I am so telling them for you." Heh. Jerk.

Personality: Lively and affectionate these dogs also have an idependent, wilful and clownish streak. They also like to bark (surprisingly loud for their size) and are compulsive diggers with a mischievous side to their subterranean activities. They shouldn't be over fed because this breed gains weight easily.

Lovely. I think it was the last sentence that clinched it. I'm going to lose those last 20 lbs if it kills me. *grumble* Damn Dachshund. GRR

I came up a Basenji. Apparently they do not bark, but instead yodel (I don't recall THAT being one of the questions). What really hit home was the fact that they are very catlike in their characteristics, including they wash themselves like cats and have no doggie smell, which is really nice because I'm more of a cat person anyway!

I got a Hungarian Puli. It's loyal, calm and obediant and is most comfy with it's own family. Oh and something about it's hair is like a rag mop.

I think the quiz is a little to freaky for me, cause it's close to being all true. I mean I am Hungarian, permed hair (rag mop) and I am loyal and comfy around people I know very well.

That was a very cool quiz. I was also a miniature dachshund. Gee, it said I have a "loud bark for my size" - imagine that!!
