Someone Understands!

I hate wearing pants. Hate Hate Hate. I feel so much better in a skirt or dress. I feel thin and feminine. Plus I hate pants that are too short. I have a 37" inseam, and I like to wear heels. So.... I need a min. 39" inseam to be comfortable. I love the look of jeans and boots.....the only place I can find jeans long enough for that is Gap (and that leaves a really big gap in the wallet right now!)

Oh I found some pants that I can wear with flats, but I always feel dumpy in them. Plus - unless you are pencil thin, pants aren't the most flattering thing a girl can wear. If you buy your skits right, they show all the assets and leave room for imagination.

I take a lot of grief for not wearing pants. I'm usually over dressed. I don't really care. I need to feel confident and that's how I feel when I'm DRESSED.

Kate gets it. She also likes skirts. I feel vindicated. And I agree with her, when you're....."a woman with a personality and intellect as assertive as mine, I imagine it’s nice to see her behaving “girly” now and again."

Tammi I agree. I like you better without pants also! ;-)

Ha ha... you asked for that (above) ;)

I am a pants girl...jeans actually --but I totally get your grief in buying them. I am only 5'1 (& 3/4) LOL and I have had to learn to sew because I have to hem every pair of pants that I buy. If I buy capris --they are regular pants on me. If skirts/dresses aren't just the right length I look even shorter... But I have to say that Deisel jeans fit great, make the butt look good and, luckily, are meant to be worn a little long... Thank you Deisel! :)

Seconding Randy's fascination with pantsless Tammi.

Generally, I'm a big skirt fan. The way the material tells you every little secret about the curve between a woman's waist & hips, then lets you guess about everything else. Beautiful and maddening :-)

I like women in skirts, I can't explain it. but I also like a woman in tight jeans. Which is good for me because my wife does NOT like wearing a skirt, everytime she buys one, she will wear it once or twice a year... maybe. However she likes tight jeans.

Plus skirts are easier access when you're being naughty in public.

heh.
The skirts should be no longer than a belt is wide.
The dress must have a slit no less than the dress.

heh.

Seconding Contagion's afterthought.

Hrmm I dunno.

I have to say that Lord did Bless a Womans Assets when she's in a pair of Wranglers ;D

Did you say 37 inches? And possibly 39? Holy crow, woman... let me sit down. If I have a 29 inch inseam, it usually means I have to install a bit of a hem.
Envy aside, I am the opposite too in that I prefer pants. These chubby calves are much happier inside a swath of denim or khaki. But I gotta agree with Contagion.. if there be jeans, let them be tight.

Wait, wait, slow down! Tammi's not wearing pants? Apparently there's a new feature attraction at the Bad Example Family Gathering that hasn't been advertised!

Gap works for you? Not me. I thought their idea of "tall" was 34" in length.

I need that much bare-footed, and 36" with heels.

Vicoria Secret has just started selling 36", and Buckle has them up to 39".

But yeah, summer shopping is SO much easier. ; )

Key - Gap Extra Long....perfect w/high heeled boots or sandles.

ALa & LeeAnn - I envy you. Imagine, with heels I'm 6'5"! Arrggghhh.....no blending in for me, not a chance.

The rest of you are just naughty! ;-)
