Not Good

They just announced that Hurricane Charley is now a Cat 4 hurricane. Keep in mind Andrew was a 4 or possibly a 5. Either way, folks we are looking at a very serious situation.

It does look like the eye of the storm will miss Tampa. However, I am even more concered as they are calling for the eye to come ashore between Ft. Meyers and Sarasota. That is where the bulk of my family and friends are.

I'm not going to kid you. I'm very worried about them. It wasn't so bad when it was a Cat 2 and looking to hit a bit north. This is now a 4 and heading right for them.

Around here the skies are getting very dark. The first tornedo was spotted about 15 miles south west of me, but looks like that one will miss this area.

I'm going to go back to the TV.

Hey! I have been thinking of you downt here as I watch the news this morning...I hope that your area isn't going to get hit that bad! I guess I should try to get in touch with my Grandmom --her companion dies a couple of months ago and now she's down there by herself (with diabetes so bad she can barely walk)...
Hooe you don't lose the internet and that the new Pizza place stays open! -the important things in life....LOL.

This is not good at all. Things are even getting a little wicked this way and we're not in the bulk of it. I'll be back in a couple hours to see how you're faring. -D.

Oh that's not good.

Keep us posted on how your doing and try to post something as soon as it's passed so we know your alive and kicking.

I'm hoping Charley peters out and stays on land. I'm worried it will go back out into the ocean then come back to land in the Carolinas. My MIL lives in Myrtle Beach so were hoping it won't hit her.

Just thought of another thing. You might want to fill your tub with water. In case you lose water you will be able to use that water to flush the toliet and use for sponge baths if needed.

Or at least fill out some old containers of water for the toliet fill/flush.
