Welcome to the wonderful world of the Movable Type thingie. When I first jumped into it I had a few reservations but now I kick myself for not doing it sooner.

BTW, thanks for the cheesecake! ;)

My first comment - and so appropriate that it's you Randy!!

I am a bit nervous about this. I have no idea how to make this Moveable Type thingy work. It looks like it'll take about a week of tweeking to even figure out how to add sitemeter and my links! Oh well, it always takes a while to unpack at a new place. :)

I have a feeling you'll do just fine.
If you have questions usually all you need to do is post your question and solutions will come flooding in.
If not I might be able point you to someone who can help.
Enjoy your weekend and keep our folks in uniform in your prayers.

Tammi - maybe it's just me, but I really like the simplicity of the look and feel of MT. For some reason, that Blogspot banner at the top of other sites I find just a bit annoying. I think as you work at it you'll find there are many cool ways to customize the skin as well.

Congrats for having the courage to jump (again)!

Welcome to MT... Don't let it intimidate you too much... Just make sure you save a copy of your current index and stylesheet before you make changes, lest a simple typo drive you mad finding it...

Looks like I found my new desktop wallpaper ;-)

As for decorating help, Randy's right. Post a question and someone will comment with a solution in minutes. Bloggers are wonderful like that.

I've also found the archives at Munuviana to be quite helpful for MT troubles:
