As I was taking a final look at email and blogs I saw I got slammed again with SPAM. 15 in the blink of an eye.
So I quickly went to work deleting it all.
Then I come across one that was posted to one of my DRAFTS?!?!
WTF???
How do they get into there when it's not even published!!
Stop It!! Stop it RIGHT NOW!!!
Damn - these guys are kickin' my ass.
And this latest batch is for some damned on-line dating service. Huh. THEY won't be getting my business - that's for sure.
But - how did they DO that?!?!

It's a piece of script that scans for blogs that exhibit comment strings and it can lay down the stupid crap that aggravates us all in the snap of fingers. I turn my comments and trackbacks off except for the first three or four active entries so it's always rotating up. The guys that use bots want to bury their source ips or track back links down deep in blogs so no one will notice them. It's all about driving traffic by having scanning bots from website search engines like google scan the comments and the ips..........I think.....
