Why is it....

I've been home sick yesterday and today. Have to go in tomorrow - no matter what. Let's just keep our fingers cross that the stomach settles down.

Anyway - back to my original question. I've been home two days. Haven't even felt good enough to really blog. So I've been lounging on the couch, dozing and watching T.V.

I have every Direct TV channel available. Only thing missing are the damned local channels. I can't find a flippin' thing to watch. Not even on PPV. WTF?!?!

You would think with over 215 channels I could find something!! But noooo.....there was actually better stuff on during the day. Kept it on the Military Channel and learned all sorts of cool stuff. But now that it's "prime time" nada, nothin', not a damn thing.

Oh well - maybe I'll go dig out a book.

But that's just a real pisser. 215 channels and nothing to watch.

huh.

Hope you get to feeling better. I remeber being sick as a dog and nothing worth a crap was on TV so I decided to read a book. I picked up Steven King's "The Stand." Book starts out with everyone having the plauge. There I was...with all the same symptoms as "Capt. Trips"...scared the hell outta me. Nice choice of reading material when you're sick as a dog.

Now you know why I hate paying for anything more than basic cable... no point.

Now you know why I don't pay for any TV, At All LOL

I won't even fork out the money for an antennae. I never watch the thing. Our TV gets used for 2 things. Video Games so me and the wife can play on our "cheap dates" and DVD's.

Yea, we're boring outdoor type people.

At this point you grab the nearest book, flip it open at random and type the first 3 words on that page into Google (with quotes) and see what comes up.
