Now they are saying the bullet that killed a man Sunday on I75 outside of Tampa looks to have been shot from a passing car. Not a sniper.
Gotta tell you - still doesn't give me the warm fuzzies. While Harvey seems to think I can talk/charm my way out of anything I just don't like the sound of this.
What makes people do something like this? If was random, why? Did the shooter get pissed off because the guy changed lanes without a signal? Did they just not like the color of his hair? Did he look at them wrong?
It reminds me back about 10 years ago, when I first moved down here tourists were being targeted. Out of state plates and rental cars were trouble. I don't think that's it - the guy was a local. But still, it stirs those memories.
So...today I'm heading that way. I ended up in Daytona yesterday so I have no choice today. Tomorrow either.
I'll just be glad when they get this solved.
