Found via Kathy at The Third Hand, this article (in the LA Times, no less) brings tears to my eyes and steel to my spine.
Cpl. Jacob Palmatier was a member of the Battle Boars of the 1st Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment of the Army's 3rd Infantry Division. He was killed by an IED in Mid February.
You owe it to yourself, and Cpl. Palmatier to go and read this article. It's more than just a story of loss, it tells of focus, vengence and commitment.
I cannot express my thanks, admiration or appreciation to our Military men and women and their families.
